Dr. Nonomura is a Professor and Chairman, Department of Urology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine , Osaka, Japan. He is a Vice president, Osaka University Hospital , Osaka, Japan. Dr. Nonomura received M.D., Ph.D. from the Osaka University Medical School. He did his fellowship from 1991-1993 in urology oncology from the National Institutes of Health at Bethesda, Maryland. His research interests are u rological malignancies (Prostate cancer, Testicular cancer, Renal cell carcinoma) carcinoma); b iology and g enetic alterations of urological
cancers . Dr. Nonomura has trained several fellows and junior faculty members in the field of urology oncology. He has expertise in clinical trials and genetic biomarkers development for urological malignancies. He has published more than 200 research papers in high impact jour nals. He is a member and organizer of various associations and societies such as: The Japanese Urological Association (President ); The Japan Society of Clinical Oncology Executive board member ); Japan Society of Urologic Oncology (President) President); The Japanese
Cancer Association (Council member); The Japanese Association of Andrology (Executive board member); The Japan Society for Sexual Medicine (Executive board member) member); American Urological Association ; Society for Basic Urology Research (Executive member); Eu ropean Association of Urology ; The American Association of Cancer Research ; The Japanese Association of Andrology (Executive board member). Dr. Nonomura has built one of the largest urology and oncology programs with more than 200 faculty members at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka, Japan.
