Dr. Nakagawa is an Advisor of Urology at Imamura General Hospital, Kagoshima, Japan (2021-present). He was a Professor and Chairman of Urology Department, Kagoshima University Faculty of Medicine (1999-2021). Dr. Nakagawa received his M.D., Ph.D. from the Oita Medical University, Japan. He has extensive expertise in both clinical and basic science research related to urological malignancies. Dr. Nakagawa has trained several fellows and junior faculty for the last 30 years. He has published more than 180 original research papers in high impact journals. He has organized several meetings related to urology oncology and has built a very strong urology oncology program at the Kagoshima University School of Medicine. Dr. Nakagawa has carried out several clinical trials on prostate, kidney and bladder cancers. He is a highly reputed surgical oncologists with strong interest in genetic biomarkers and gene based cancer therapies.
