Dr. Okuyama is President of Osaka Yukioka School of Medical Technology affiliated institute on allied health of Osaka University (2016-present). He is a Professor Emeritus, and a Former Professor and Chairman, Department of Urology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine (1991-2010). After retirement, h e contributed to postgraduate training of Osaka University Medical School at branch hospital Socia l Welfare Aizenbashi Hospital (2010-2016 as director.

His present working position is President of Osaka Yukioka School of Medical Technology affiliated institute on allied health of Osaka University (2016-present) He finished MD in 1971 and obtained P hD on andrology and pathology in 1978 at Osaka University.

As president, he managed the Japanese Urological Association (JUA, 2005-2009), Japanese Society of Andrology (2000-2008), APSSM (2005-2007) and Japan ASE AN Conference of Men’s Health and Aging; JACMHA (2006-2014 ). He was Chairman of 15 domestic or international meetings including 92th JUA (2004), especially, 5th APSSAM and 4th JACMHA (2009).

Dr. Okuyama published more than 400 peer reviewed research articles related to basic and clinical studies in urology or andrology . He was Editor in Chief (2005 2009) of International Journal of Urology (Tokyo), Co Editor of Asian Journal of Andrology (Shanghai) and E ditorial Board of UROLOGY (Cleveland), Korean Journal of Urology (Seoul) and Journal of Medical Association of Thailand (Bangkok). He was nominated for Honorary Member of The Royal College of Surgeon of Thailand College of Surgeon of Thailand (RCST) in 2007, AUA in 2010 and JUA in 2011.in 2007, AUA in 2010 and JUA in 2011.
