Dr. Enokida is a Chairman and Professor, Department Urology, Graduate of School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Kagoshima University, Kagoshima, Japan. He received his MD, PhD from the Kagoshima University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Enokida did his urology oncology research fellowship at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) from 2002-2005. He has extensive expertise in prostate, kidney and bladder cancers. Dr. Enokida was the first scientist who reported genetic differences as basis for prostate cancer health disparities among African Americans (Inter. J Cancer 2005). He is a highly trained surgical oncologists with extensive experience in clinical trials and genetic biomarker development for urological malignancies. He has extensively published in high impact journals. He is an active member and organizer of various associations such as; Japanese Urological Association (2012- Representative); West Japan Urological Association (2011- Councilor); Japanese Association for Cancer Research (2016- Councilor); American Association for Cancer Research; The Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy; Japanese Society for Molecular and cellular Urology (2013- Councilor); Japanese Society of Endourology; Japanese Society for Clinical Renal Transplantation; American Urological Association; Société Internationale d’Urologie.
